Welcome to Chasing Gina!

Hi everyone!  I’m Gina and it’s my dream to travel the world.  I created this blog to share my own travel experiences and to inspire others to visit new places, go on adventures, and connect with the world around them.  Make sure to visit my About page to learn more about me and how I got started traveling.

Why did I decide to start a travel blog?

You know that feeling when you go on an amazing trip—maybe you stood on top of the world at Machu Picchu or played with elephants Thailand or ate copious amounts of pasta in Italy—and you just want to tell everyone about it when you get back home? Your first day back, your friends and coworkers ask you how your vacation was.  You say, “It was amazing!”  Then they respond, “Great, glad you had fun.”  And that’s it.  The conversation ends.  You say to yourself, “Wait, I just flew halfway across the world, had this life-changing transformative experience, and have a million more stories to share!”  I know that feeling all too well, and that’s why I decided to start this blog.  I hope to create a community with all of you readers so we can share our passion for travel with each other.

Chasing Gina seeks to be both inspirational and informative. While here, I want you to dream up your next trip and then have all the tools at your fingertips to make it a reality. You will find authentic accounts of my travels and adventures, detailed travel guides, travel tips, and step-by-step guides on how to plan your next adventure.  All that and more coming soon 🙂
