Welcome to Chasing Gina!  I’m Gina and it’s my dream to travel the world.  I created this blog to share my own travel experiences and to inspire others to visit new places, go on adventures, and connect with the world around them.

I’m a twenty-something living in Chicago, Illinois.  I think it’s the best city in the world but I might be biased!  By day, I work a typical 9-5 job in digital marketing for an insurance company.  On weekends and vacation days, I travel the world!  I’ve been to 22 countries on 4 continents and hope to visit many more in the near future.  How did I get my start traveling, you ask?  Growing up, my family took vacations every summer, oftentimes road tripping across the country to some cool and some not-so-cool places.  I really caught the travel bug though when I studied abroad in Milan, Italy, for a semester junior year of college.  Since then, my passion for travel has only grown stronger and my bucket list has grown longer.
